The Grand Frais supermarket chain is the first to have chosen SEMPACK® for the launch of its new line of private-label sauces: Béarnaise, 3 Peppers, and Roquefort – perfect for summer grilling and barbecues!…

The sauces are now available in our flexible packaging since May 2026 in the meat section of all stores in the national chain – more than 330 locations – with about 30 additional store openings planned for 2026.

This partnership is based on a flexible packaging solution that simultaneously addresses several major challenges on the shelf :

  • Fully recyclable: 100% recyclable packaging, designed to fit into existing recycling systems
  • Material efficiency: 74% lighter than an equivalent flexible PET bottle, representing a significant reduction in the plastic footprint at the source
  • Reduced food waste: the “squeeze-to-empty” mechanism allows up to 95% of the product to be used, compared to 75–80% in a standard flexible PET bottle – a direct benefit for the consumer and a practical tool against waste
  • Strong shelf differentiation: packaging that stands out from all existing standard sauce packaging (tubes, flexible bottles, rigid bottles)

For those who still have doubts, this national rollout confirms:

  • that eco-friendly packaging design has become a key differentiator and source of added value for the most discerning retailers;
  • that Sempack is not limited to a niche market (foodservice) but can be rolled out on an industrial scale in mass retail, in both the food and personal care sectors.

A big thank you to Grand Frais for its trust, and above all, congratulations on its boldness!
